3 beat switches. 2nd verse
This should be a DJ Paul/Juicy J super producer appreciation thread.
Mista Don't Play had some good ones. Saw If You Ain't From My Hood already posted. Can't forget Whole Lotta Weed (Pat floats on that shyt)
Linked up to the beat switch ^^^
DJ Paul had some good beat switches on Da 6ix Commandments mixtape in 2013 as well (shameless promo for two vids I put together :donhomer: ).

For sa much of a producer head as I am I really sleep on these dudes. Daps and rep for helping put me on
The change up with beanie , bleek and Jay
To bad Jay z did spit
Breh Murs is a strange cat. Honestly I’d never heard of him. I was working on the scene in NC and just remember Murs coming down and 9th Wonder producing a whole album for him. So that’s what made me listen to Murs.word now that you mention it i was kind of wondering if you were on that southern wave at all when it came to production
btw that murs was incredible. embarrassed to say that i have never heard a murs album in my life & why i have no idea. but duke was dropping some jewels on that track. are you a fan of his or is it just the production on that particular track that caught your ear? that beat switch at a minute in was absolutely inappropriate. dope shyt and he floated on it too, think i'm gonna have to make it my mission to really delve into murs work in the upcoming weeks
all i know about the homie is that he was messing around with roxy reynolds 10 years back and legit fell in love with the bytch. then turned around and kissed a dude off in another video a few years later lmao

He’s a decent emcee. He’s a unique cat. He’s kind of a skater mixed with a hippie mixed with a forger gang banger. He’s got the most consistently sexually graphic music I’ve ever heard but is also kind of simp-ish too? His first album with 9th (they ended up doing more than half a dozen) has 3 girl joints that range from crying about not getting girls, to him dogging them out, to sex tales from touring. He’s all over the place with women, and they’re maybe the primary theme of his music.
The first two albums he did with 9th (3:16 and Murray’s Revenge) are my favorite Murs projects. Fornever has more of a west coast sound. Lemme know what you think if you listen.
