Ross deserves to be on that list. That nikkabeen running the rap game for three years straight and he is STILL the hottest doing it right now. :comeon:

No. Didn't get that hot till 2010 a year he was behind drizzy & kanye. Drake owned 2011 & Ross fell off in 2012 while k dot came up.

I'd have put Kanye in 2004, maybe Nas in 2002, Game in 2005, Ti in 2006, Maybe either Wayne or Kanye in 2007, either Kendrick or Nas in 2012

But other than that, yeah I guess its straight

Ross has had it at least one year in the last 3.

Kanye West dropped The College Dropout, Late Registration and was all over Be between 04-05. At least two of those albums are classics. That's 7 million records sold in 18 months. Number one singles etc.

And he wasn't the best for either of those years?

You notice how Tone Loc, Hammer and Vanilla Ice didn't get any love for '89-91? But Ice Cube and Q-Tip he sold a fraction of what they did are the standard?

At one point it went from being "the best emcee" to the laziness of just giving it to whoever was "most popular"...
