If you believe their funding or motivation comes from Islam...
Then all I can do is wait for you to grow up and enter the real world

:mjlol:
im saying islam clearly plays a significant part in their devotion and fanaticism

to deny that is lying breh :yeshrug: i never said it was the main goal or source, but its a significant part. and the fact that apologists cant even admit that it plays a PART in it, speaks volumes to their denial

There are wars in these countries where 10k+ have died, you can blame "islamic extremism" as a political ideology for these deaths, jus

Spreading "freedom" and "democracy" has killed more people, destroyed more cultures, and exterminated peoples way of life than Islam ever has, or will. I mean the poster child for democracy bascially wiped an entire race of peaceful people off the earth. (us and the native americans :usure: )
more deflection without addressing the article :mjlol:

if you want to call out the west, start a thread on it. i'll be a contributor. this whole "you cant criticize islam because of western imperialism" of course has a point, but doesnt erase what radical islam is responsible for :yeshrug:

I actually just skimmed the thread, didnt read or watch any videos breh :manny: Im just saying, its ironic how people have problems with one political ideology that causes casualties, but are in love with another, that causes (maybe more) the same casualties.

absolutely. no one who has a problem with radical islam, can have no problem with american imperialism, or else theyre fulla shyt

i have a problem with both :yeshrug: and if i believed in god, he owes america every plague in the book

that being said, i cant watch muslims hell bent on spreading their version of sharia (among other motives) do so through violence, and not call it for what (i think) it is. and if the good muslims feel the same way about the extremism, i fail to see where i'm egregiously out of line. without the quran there is no islamic extremism, although of course anger can and should stem from other things

@Dragonfly Jones,
I edited your thread to make it a big discussion about Islam to avoid the proliferation of threads about the matter.

Nigeria's Gombe and Bauchi cities hit by blasts

Militant Islamists have carried out a wave of bombings in Nigeria since 2009

Boko Haram

At least 26 people have been killed in bombings in two major cities in northern Nigeria, emergency workers and witnesses say.

The first blast at bus rank in Gombe killed at least 20 while another six died in an explosion at a market in Bauchi, they added.

Militant Islamist group Boko Haram is waging an insurgency in the area.

Meanwhile, a video purportedly released by the group shows dozens of people being executed at a school dormitory.

They were made to lay face down before being shot dead.

There is no independent confirmation that Boko Haram produced the video. It is unclear where or when it was shot.

But the video bears Boko Haram's insignia and shows gun-wielding men chanting "Allah is great" and speaking in the Kanuri language associated with the group's fighters, says BBC Nigeria analyst Jimeh Saleh.

'Training camp dismantled'
Militants from Boko Haram, which means "Western education is forbidden", often attack educational establishments.

Red Cross official Abubakar Adamu Gombe told the BBC Hausa service that body parts lay scattered at the site of the blast in Gombe.

Government official Mato Yakubu said the explosion occurred, as people were climbing on to a nearby bus at the Dukku bus park, AFP news agency reports.

Mr Gombe said he expected the number of people killed by the explosion to rise.

Eighteen people had been rushed to hospital with serious injuries, he added.

At least three people were killed in a bomb attack at another bus station in Gombe city on 31 October.

Boko Haram is fighting to create an Islamic state
Gombe state shares a border with Bauchi state as well as Adamawa, Borno and Yobe, the three Nigerian states worst-affected by the insurgency and which have been under emergency rule since last year.

The explosion in Bauchi city had caused a huge fire, and there were "heavy casualties", the Red Cross said.

On Sunday, Cameroon's military said it had dismantled a training camp run by Boko Haram in the Guirvidig locality near its border with north-eastern Nigeria.

Soldiers captured 45 trainers and 84 children between the ages of seven and 15 who were undergoing training, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant Colonel Didier Badjecks, told the Reuters news agency.

He said "many more" had been killed in the raid.

Boko Haram launched its insurgency in Nigeria in 2009 to create an Islamic state in the region.

At least 2,000 civilians have been killed by the group in Nigeria this year.

The kidnapping of more than 200 schoolgirls by Boko Haram in April from the town of Chibok in Borno state sparked international outrage.

Oh, its not Islam :mjlol:

Unless you're an atheist you have no right or credibility to criticize islam.

Because religions like Christianity have extremely high death counts and bodies piled miles high.

And seriously, what type of intellectual still believes in mysticism folklore or mythology?

Those who believe strongly in any semblance of a higher being cannot, in good conscience, be called intellectuals. Denial and ignorance plays heavily into blind faith, the key component to religion.

Does it really matter? There's massive evidence that suggests Islam was a creation of the Roman Catholic Church to gain a strong-hold on Jerusalem. Just like it doesn't matter how much irony and hypocrisy there is in the celebration of Christmas, which has its roots in the ancient mystery pagan religions.

What evidence and sources suggest this claim? I find it intersting... I've heard theories that the Jews created the quran and so, islam. To think that these theories may have some credibility...

This topic of - How Islam Came To Be (the origins of islam) - makes for a good separate thread for those with reliable information imo

Actually re-reading that I sounded like a total prick and probably used a little hyperbole.

I should have wrote:

I'll find some reputable sources and come back.

disgusting how the West can support radical Islam

People in the West do not support radical Islam.

A few governments in the West have supported it on occasion, but so have some in the East ( but they don't support the ideas.... just the political causes and agendas)

Less than 1% of Muslims even support so called Islamist and radical ideas.
