So without epmd and ksolo cash money would never have been possible,...you know that right.

if epmd never was on the books as the first million dollar signed group on defjam as well.

I think you just exposed you don't know the technical proficiency of emcee'n at a base level.
All because pmd was as a good technician as any in the golden era and styles war era as a technical marvel on the slow flow.
Plus, as a producer be credited for argueably the fourth best released rap diss record in history with mc lyte slave2darhythm.
So just this comment alone and the fact Erick sermon rapping up was way more proficient as an emcee than bird or mannie.
When neither bird or mannie could rap at all.

@Art Barr none of what you said dispels anything. Eyes on this was one of the first albums I've owned and I fukk with that record but none of this negates my stance and parrish is a meh rapper. Always has been. Parrish did very little without Erick and I'm very confident Beatrice has more quotable verses than him Joe. Whodie ain't shyt play boy

EPMD were lyrically good but I don't remember too much about them and I love and grew up on East Coast music. I was more of a Wu Tang girl! But I love the old school Cash Money. I honestly can't compare these two. Now if you were to compare No Limit to Cash Money then that would make sense! Interesting choice of rappers to discuss none the less!
