I feel the same way, diminished athleticism and skillset. For nba its still competition, regardless if it's just old heads rn. That isn't the end goal though they have lowered the age, it's competition they just don't pay as well

You see this is why ESPN doesn't cover the Big 3. Why the fukk would the average care about the highlights of the Power vs. the Killer 3's? What city are those teams from? Why would a fan care about Donte Green vs. Jodie Meeks shootout? The NHL doesn't have this problem because it has a consistent story. If Sportscenter leads off with Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Washington Capitals, everyone knows what city they are from. Some fans can even list the star players for that team. When Sportscenter shows the highlights for that game next year, the fans will still know the City and stars for those teams.

You don't know the cost differences. I've googled and can't find any revenue or financial reports. What I do see are stories about Ice Cube selling NFTs for "ownership stakes" in teams, suing foreign investors for allegedly not providing funding, and going on a media tour begging right wing moguls to give him money. None of which sounds promising or like this is a stable league that will last.
I'm not obligated to support anything just because a black person is behind it. The product sucks and the owners are pieces of shyt. I'll pass.

I need a blueprint for success. What is it supposed to be? We've seen what Overtime Elite is supposed to be. We've seen what the G League Ignite is supposed to be. Even the Big Baller League had a mission (went about it horribly but there was a goal).
The Big 3 with the NBA's help is supposed to be what? I remember early on in The Big 3 when they'd hit up streetball courts and promote, head over to indoor events and promote. They don't even do that now and that's the chief audience you need to attract. Everyone else is either at the beach, watching baseball, enjoying the outdoors. The main people you wanna go after are the ones who pack Dyckman or Gersh to watch NY vs NY or go to pro-ams in Seattle or check out open runs.
Ice cube has a song with Insane Clown Posse so I hope he does well with his league
