Jerry Rawlings did an excellent job of pushing it too. Ghana was way ahead of the curve and pushing for African Americans to make Ghana their second home.

I’m probably the only one who feels this way, but they need to build these artistic creations, infrastructures, and technology with Afrocentric influence rather than a westernized view of what is African. I don’t think adopting and lionizing Black Panther is a good idea
Take our capitol building for example, the European-esque high relief statues, Doric through corinthian orders, and the dome rotunda are all intentionally placed iconographic pieces made to tell the story of Greece, Rome, Europe and whiteness. Whites always build upon past white creations. If Africans continue to adopt western concepts of what Africa should in a post colonial world (not really), they’ll essentially perpetuate the projection of white superiority into the subconscious. Black Panther is cool and all but the comics and the films are still loaded with racism and westernize propaganda

Replace Zeus with Shango (probably not Ghanaian)
