Don't think so; I just heard that they increased the offer, he just wasn't having it. That approach you speak of is what the Coupons would have done. Uncle Steve has already shown a willingness to spend.

What we gotta keep in mind, an 83 win season when you have high expectations and get eliminated on the last day is a very tough blow. Not only does management see the need for change players for themselves may think that to and want a fresh start.
