Couldn't beat the 9ers at home
28-3
Couldn't beat an Eagles team with Nick fukkin Roles

And why the hell does he drop back 15 feet before every throw? :mindblown:

Get "Matty Ice" the fukk outta here :camby:

1. Harbaugh Niners were beast.
2. Shyt playcalling (RUN THE BALL)
3. Julio could have and should have caught that pass. He mistimed his jump/catch attempt.

But hey, if y'all want to write off and continue to hate on BY FAR the best quarterback to ever play for the Falcons because -- among other things -- he is the passer Mike Vick never became in your uniform, have at it. Keep acting like Atlanta actually won shyt before he got there.

Matt Ryan is a very good to great QB. Consistently top 10. And he has done it with constant turnover at the offensive coordinator position. If you give me a list of elite championship QBs, I'll show you consistency in coaching/systems or a great defense. That shyt matters. No doubt, Matt has left some plays on the field in championship moments. I've seen every "elite" QB do the same. QBs are held to the highest standard of championships- so he justifiably gets questioned. That is fair. But don't act like he's trash.

Yall haven't had a roster as talented as Ryan has since the 90s and yalls coaching is trash. Dak is Matt Ryan with a better arm and more athleticism, but has a less talented roster and horrible coaching.

:dwillhuh: dak prescott literally does NOTHING better than matt ryan

:russ::mjlol: The season right after Vick went to jail Ryan had Roddy white in the pro bowl I think. Vick wasn’t throwing that shyt to nobody and was gonna develop anybody

Roddy was developing nicely under Vick breh, he just didn't start which falls on the coaching staff

Vick was a below average passing QB, frequently injured and told you himself that he did not apply himself in the film room or in the offseason to getting better. So what makes you think he would've been a better fit for a traditional passing attack than Matt Ryan is?

Because he got things done with minimal talent and coaching around him. Plus Dan Reeves told him to be himself as soon as he came into the league so you expect him to change what got him there in the first place? We all know Vick was a better athlete than QB, but don't act like he didn't have arm talent. He had one of the strongest arms in league history. Who was he supposed to develop as a QB under? Jim Mora? :mjlol:

Roddy struggles with his consistency and confidence in the two years that he played with Vick. Most Falcons fans can still tell you about Mike throwing to a wide open Roddy on the sidelines vs the Saints at the Dome in 06 that he dropped.

It's telling that Roddy's best year as a pro came the year that Vick went to jail (2007)

He had arm talent but was inaccurate. He didn't really study game film or put the time in. He never dedicated himself to the game and he has said so numerous times. So why would i believe that just because he had better talent around him that he would suddenly put more time in, develop into more of a passer and be more consistent? That's a huge leap of faith to make that I never saw in his 6 years as a Falcon

Actually 9ers D wasn't as good in the playoffs. Packers, Falcons and Ravens averaged 25 PPG during that playoffs. Ryan made a few key boneheaded plays that got the 9ers back into the game. Kaep outplayed him in that game. A 1st year (as a starter) QB who the league says can't play anymore. :comeon:

So Vick was outchea making playoff runs with Alge Crumpler and Michael Jenkins as his primary targets, but he wouldn't improve with the likes of Tony Gonzalez and Julio Jones? :patrice:

I'm not even sayin Matt Ryan is trash, but he should be in that upper echelon of QBs with all that's around him yet he's not

Vick had a prime Roddy white
this is a blatant lie, Roddy was a young wild breh who wasn't consistent or dependable yet

Matt had prime Roddy

Vick only could depend on Crumpler and Warrick Dunn on offense, with the other receiver having a good game here and there

:russ: The year after Vick, Roddy going crazy with a rookie Ryan :wow: know your qb ain't trying to break the all time rushing record probably helped him a lot. Roddy coulda transferred to Georgia tech and he woulda had the responsibility as he had a falcons
