So Vick was outchea making playoff runs with Alge Crumpler and Michael Jenkins as his primary targets, but he wouldn't improve with the likes of Tony Gonzalez and Julio Jones? :patrice:

I'm not even sayin Matt Ryan is trash, but he should be in that upper echelon of QBs with all that's around him yet he's not

He wasn't a consistent passer, mediocre passer, average passer rating. Y'all be trying to use Madden fanboy logic to the NFL. Having better talent helps yes, but you're only taking advantage of Julio and Tony with a disciplined passing QB. Mike was a lot of things but he wasn't a disciplined passer. He would've still been a sub 60% completion passer with a middling passer rating.

As for Matt, he is in that upper echelon of QBs. Look at his numbers the last 10 years...how many QBs are better than him? Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Ben and maybe Romo that's it

Eagles defense had 11 hits and 3 sacks and only gave him Julio on under routes. Eagles defense shut his ass down. He a solid QB Atlanta be careful what y'all ask.

Ryan didn't score the entire 2nd half. In the playoffs a QB is expected to face stifling defenses and produce. I saw Ryan try to run at least once and get sacked. You know why? Because Ryan doesn't have the playmaking ability required.

Black folks in general act like Vick retired with 500 TDs and 8 rings

I've been a Falcons fan my whole life and was a Vick fanboy in real life (nikkaz can check my post history on AHH IC & WordofSouth My Block forums @tremonthustler1 @Atlrocafella let em know brehs :wow:) but let's keep it real. For as dynamic as he was as a runner and all of his physical skills he wasn't a good passer and wasn't a patient or disciplined passer either

nikkaz on they Madden/fantasy shyt thinking you just insert a player or two and the QB just all of a sudden becomes an elite passer overnight

Vick had a prime Roddy white and Ran the ball 80% of the game and didn’t develop him. Stop the lies.

Plus once he got to the eagles he had nothing but WRS also, when he finally stopped running the ball every time It was hiked.

With that said the falcons need a better play caller for real. Shanny worked wonders last season.

Steve sarkisian is terrible, It seems like he threw everything shanny built in the trash can. Last season the RB out the backfield was damn near unstoppable, the falcons legit has probably 2 top 5 pass catching rbs and this season that whole scheme went in the bushes.

Coleman wasn’t utilized at all, they need a new coordinator

Sarkisian ran HB screens multiple in the Falcons' last game against the Rams. Screens didn't work against the Eagles. Sarkisian is not to blame for the Falcons' loss. Shanhan's high-producing offenses generally tend only to work for 1 season anyway, a la in Washington. Ryan is who he is: an above average QB that can't win when teams pressure him.

That's not his fault Eagles only allowed 12 touchdowns at home all season in 9 games and I believe none in the 4th. Eagles had a defensively masterpiece game. Falcons only scored on turnovers take those away game is a shout out.

Do you guys look at stats or just say Eagles aint good smh

Not really screens bro. Last season they was running routes out the back field that would literally destroy LB. And rg3 was a trash qb who had more power than the coaches. Shanny was a offensives guru

I remember this mainly cause I saw a lot of they games and I really focused and watch they game vs the broncos a couple times.

it's more than just screens. shanny was really creative w his rbs in the pass game.

sark is a trash oc. so way that should be the #15 offense with those weapons

The Eagles' defensive record is partly because of the poor offenses they have faced. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks scored 2 touchdowns in the 2nd quarter against the Eagles this year. You know how Wilson did it? He doesn't need to lock onto Julio Jones like Ryan does, and get sacked when Jones isn't open, like Ryan does. Matt Ryan is not a good enough pocket passer to sit in the pocket and win the Superbowl. And he can't create on his own.
