Roddy struggles with his consistency and confidence in the two years that he played with Vick. Most Falcons fans can still tell you about Mike throwing to a wide open Roddy on the sidelines vs the Saints at the Dome in 06 that he dropped.

It's telling that Roddy's best year as a pro came the year that Vick went to jail (2007)



He had arm talent but was inaccurate. He didn't really study game film or put the time in. He never dedicated himself to the game and he has said so numerous times. So why would i believe that just because he had better talent around him that he would suddenly put more time in, develop into more of a passer and be more consistent? That's a huge leap of faith to make that I never saw in his 6 years as a Falcon

This is trash. Roddy got good the week with the falcons he was trash and his momma called him and told him he sucks. Then that season with Redman, Harrington and Leftwich, he shined in Hue Jackson's system. Roddy upped his game. Matt didn't up it as it was upped before Matt and Turner got there.

Russell is Vick if he had speed. Vick lived off speed til philly. If russel has speed he might have last that long in the league. Russell had a stronger arm than Vick, but had no speed and put no time in.

Say whatcha want about Matt Ryan but since Aaron Rodgers won the chip in '10 Matt only has one less playoff win than he does, including a head-to-head victory.

And Michael Vick would've flourished in that Dan Reeves system had he not broke his leg in the 2003 preseason.
