If, within a year, there isn’t an indie wrestler named CB (Corporate bytch) Punk or CH (Chicago Hypocrite) Punk who just parodies Punk to make fun of him being a hypocrite, then just shut down the indies because what the fukk are we even doing?

The promo was good

The surprising thing was leaning into the whole will Punk actually go to Saudi thing
Cena made the exchange work with the Saudi stuff. Amd again, there was nothing inherently wrong with Punk's delivery but he just felt fake or going through the motions to me. Which is the last thing I expect from him.

Punk is instinctively a miserable person. He knows that there's no fallback option with AEW because he burned that bridge to the ground. I don't think TK will ever bring Punk back even if he were to apologize to him and/or the Elite.

What was the reaction when Sami flipped?

Sami's issue was out of his hands because of Saudi Arabia/Syria relations and Sami's family coming from Syria. Not sure if it was his call not to go, or WWE not wanting to piss the Saudi's off, but his first Saudi event was after Saudi Arabia and Syria reestablished relations. He seemed pretty happy to go in 2023.

Pretty different situation than referring to the Saudi events as Blood Money.

Not sure what's that got to with the promo breh :dwillhuh: Punk's always been miserable but he still has a special ability to make shyt feel real/personal. I was just surprised at how pedestrian he sounded last night, specially for that kind of confrontation with a guy he has awesome chemistry like Cena.
