People felt like after his promo flub on Smackdown, its all getting to him.
I feel like its a pretty easy thing to lean into
If Cena is gonna play up with the Saudi/Hypocrite thing in storyline and on social media with the Miz in Saudi photo, then they might as well acknowledge Punk looking gotten to on Friday as part of it and John talking about showing his weakness and showing Punk cracking.
And then Punk next promo or promo after is him just saying hes been called a hypocrite before and was called that even coming back to WWE and even acknowledge hes back in the place that got him sick but hes never run away from a fight etc etc Throw in a China/Taiwan jab back at him.
Twitter wank aside this seems like a layup especially if WWE insists on letting them go unscripted, thats the Beak's own stupidty for letting that happen lol

It's absolutely nuts that WWE is doing an angle about making a face have to go to Saudi Arabia for a match after being outspoken on the regime and anyone going there to work a show on moral grounds. Like...they're doing sports washing for KSA. And yet they're also doing an angle about how a top face finds KSA abhorrent for obvious reasons and has to suck it up and go there for a title shot anyway. That was a local guy and they've been doing that for a minute especially with ones that lean a little pro militant, Im talking about going outside of Saudi to do something to someone who was pretty mild on them like Khashoggi.
And I mean they wont do something to a foreign celeb/athlete whos famous cause it will blow up all the deals.
