Ironically the same Brawl Out that made him smarten up caused the sickos to go full retard :what: it’s one thing to joke about his hypocrisy and bowing down to the king/kissing the ring, but it’s weird af seeing ppl legitimately fantasize about a man cheating with younger women or getting served them divorce papers or actually sucking a bloody d!ck. :scusthov:

All cause he left AEW and went back to WWE :pachaha:

I mean, I'm guilty of such things concerning Phil wanting to direct NXXXT :shaq: , but mofos sounding kinda like sour grapes and doing the whole "SEAAAA SEAAA" steez thats on the level of neckbeard behavior. Phil living his best middle age crisis life and quite frankly, I'm proud of the Waffle House fame :banderas: .The wrestling business need to get off its high horse with this whole "I need to fight for such and such promotion" or "I'm doing this for the people".

Mofo, you take bumps for a living. You say the same shyt in various promotions, and quite frankly the whole rally and revolution shyt is for them birds. I say this as a marsupial that stands on moral ground, but the wrestling business is filled with athletic clowns like Matt Cardona that spew the whole "indie gawd" shyt, but on some "holla at Hov, plz sign me" shyt with Triple Cockafella.

I'm all on board the Phil "sorry for 2004" get this money era :wow:

Man that was a tightrope that I don’t know how one handles that lol

Probably did as well as he could and was the mature thing to let the people know it ain’t about them but he gave fodder to Twitter haters and people who already were ready to pounce.

Tomorrow is gonna be interesting, looking forward to being inside the building for it.

The fact he's doing shyt for the money and putting ego aside is what I'm talking about. We can all joke and make fun at him for being a hypocrite like 99,9% of wrestlers after spending decades cultivating a fanbase on the idea/imagine that he was part of the 0,1% that wasn't, but at the end of the day, his AEW stint finally made him grow the fukk up and treat wrestling like the carny ass business that it is :yeshrug:

In reality he’ll only look like a hypocrite and sellout if his morals literally do sell out and he’s telling people “actual fukk gay people and maybe Trump gotta point “ cause MBS slipped him the bag to say so :pachaha:

Beyond that he’s just doing a gig.

He just has to take Punk out of the name/image and the hypocrisy goes away, tbh. Or at least the apparent earnestness of it.

If you walk around calling yourself Punk, of course you're up on the screen as soon as you choose money over an ideal.

Johnny Rotten's image never recovered from being in insurance adverts over here, but everyone's quite happy for Snoop to sell us anything because he didn't build a career off being anti-capitalist and anti-establishment. It's the same thing with CM Punk.

Young punks grow old.

Personally I'd lean into it as a heel gimmick or just be Honest Phil. He doesn't make sense right now so he's easy to make fun of, but he can fix that pretty easily IMO.

I mean, the only way Phil will drop the "Punk" name is heel turn, retirement, or him being behind the scenes with NXT. Beyond that, he can just ride the novelty act of being Chicago Made Punk.

Then again, some gimmicks you just can't shake with the change in life. No different from the Young Bucks, being old as hell but still going by the Young Bucks :dead:

You defend Punk a lot breh, all I'm gonna ask is if you think it's fair game to make fun of him given his current situation or not, because that's what most of us are doing here anyways :heh:

To be fair, he threw a fit in AEW cause the amateur class and their media stooges were relentlessly sabotaging him out of jealousy. Revisionist history won't change the fact that he punked that entire company in a situation that they brought entirely on themselves.

Also, I doubt this move is about making money for him. It shows Arie he's willing to be a team player and take a hit for the company. As far as I'm concerned, if compromising his beliefs puts him one step closer to running NXT in a main quest to overthrow Big Nose from guerrilla position then long may it continue. :yeshrug:
What makes you think he's got a better eye for talent? Never forget that he wanted Chris Hero instead of Roman in the shield. :scust:
