Same old Boondocks. Like most satire based shows, as time goes on, the satire becomes forced. Other than that it feels like a "MacGruder era" episode.

They didn't even change the intro and outro like they usually do every new season. This season was rushed off

It had some laughs. Seemed like they were making fun of Young Thug kinda along with Chris Brown.....does kinda seem like they threw darts for ideas for the concept of the show though.

nothing crazy..kind of treading on old waters with making fun of rappers/current stars and having Tom's wife all wet over a singer. Glad Tom got to win for once.

so how do you explain the trash that was on last night?

Not at all different from your average season 3 episode. I think it's a strong start to what's going to be an okay season. Like somebody above me said, the nature of the episodes means that at some point, boondocks will inevitably implode on itself, but it seems to be working for now. I grew up with this show, and still maintain that season 1 was the greatest, but for new fans, the new season doesn't seem to be any different from what we're already used to. it had some pretty cool ad-libs. i guess we'll just have to wait until the first true 'riley' episode airs before people start paying attention.
