I'm serious. I think it's half overblown expectations and half ego. I think his ego is so huge (which it should be) that just breaking the Internet, braking sales/ tour records, appearances on good morning America, Budweiser ads ain't enough for him. He wants to come out with something that'll change everything about the music business AND music consumption. Then nikka wanna go out on some bill gates Steve jobs shyt fukk a soul train award lol

detox is never going to happen, simply because it will not make Dre any money. dre's current business model is almost entirely under the aegis of beats. as much as rappers pontificate about 'passion' or 'real hip hop' at the end of the day it's all just a business to them. if scrubbing toilets would make them the same amount of money they're getting now, that's what they'd do.
