I kind of agree, I'm becoming disillusioned with this place nowadays, people aren't talking about the actual music, or the dope music. I will still come on and post as there are some cool and knowledgeable people here and people that hook up with new music but the shyt is very wack quite often. It could actually be drastically fixed but seems like whoevers running shyt wants to maintain the status quo instead of handling shyt in a true Hip Hop manner.
I wish this place the best and hope it thrives, am going to start an alternative though, like a place and forum that TRULY LOVES Hip Hop not just 1 that wants to exploit it. So anybody interested in joining up and being a part of it feel free to PM me and I'll hook you up with the details when it's sorted. Someone's working on it for me now... It's not about competition, I'll still post here, but feel like we need an alternative, tired of the bullshyt here, have offered help but never taken up on it so... people ain't listening so I feel like we need something for Hip Hop heads RUN BY HIP HOP HEADS. That will make something lasting that can grow you know, willing for anyone cool to be a part of it. Hopefully have a higher level of discussion there. I will also drop some jewels there which can hopefully make some people money, do some business and all sorts. But we need a better community, a lot of the people here aren't shyt to be honest, need to filter and get to a higher level.
^^^ @MC Metaphysical was someone I had in mind. Someone like that should have a more prominent position. Does a lot of quality posting that goes unnoticed. A number of people do.

That's true actually, the discussion level there was much higher. There's a lot of corny people here are FAR to many trolls. It's ridiculous.
People say the music, nah it's not the music, the music IS out there that's dope and discussion worthy. Just whoever is running shyt is going with the same formulaic bullshyt, some negative people some of them (not all, I like some). They jump on trends instead of creating them, in an anti Hip Hop manner. Could have a much greater and better influence but they don't.... it's weak, the leadership here isn't good. It's not righteous, for the most part.

And the people who decide what get sticked or not are not helping at all. They are keeping shyt robotic. They do some good shyt, but its very unbalanced, Hip Hop should be diverse, I don't take issue with a new Rick Ross project being sticked but I do when KRS-One comes out with a new album and that ain't sticked too.
How many really good ALBUMS have been released in the past 6 months? I ask because I'm old fashioned and don't like to listen to single songs as they're leaked if they aren't part of a cohesive project...I seen a song or two from Run The Jewels posted but I'm waiting for the whole project to drop..

At least 2 great albums I'm aware of, and a number of good songs. Another album I consider a 4 mic album too. And then there was another producer album that was really good too, so yeah think it's been good, I'm enjoying it, more to come this year too.
