I wanted to elaborate on something thats been irking me for alittle bit, as a backdrop im an old Socom/CounterStrike head but i thoroughly enjoy duty(have bought them all save WaW since CoD4
 Black Ops 2 was the most casual friendly of all the call of duty's that game is NOT that great. all small maps with very little tactics

Ghosts actually got it right, it actually was the first to remind me of BO1. AW is really the most different

MW2 was broken due to how easy the good people would end games with a nuke, and MW3 was par. I hate how many people say BO2 is "competitive" and what not its the same type argument losers try to convince themselves that Super Smash Brothers should be compared to a game like Street Fighter or MvC.

BO2 was good but its not the best in the series

after CoD brought in killstreaks, the tactical nature of "realistic" shooters has slowly gone down down down. And now people equate skill with these twitch usain bolt style of play where folks run like duke nukem with steroids back and forth across the map. When duty first dropped it wasnt really like that, and honestly it didnt hit the point it is now until BO2 which leads me to this

MW2's broken kill streaks have caused this nonsense, before then tactics were still king and theres still a good 30-40% of players who really pay attention to the map quirks and firing lines etc

What i wanna know is who are these fakkits who think hardpoint is remotely competitive or tactical. Its like halo style gameplay if you ask me which i can only take in small doses. I still dont understand why people disliked Ghosts given how deep most of the maps were designed(bigger but there was much more attention to detail) even the kill streaks werent that bad.

If you compare killstreaks in Ghosts to BO2 ill tell you right now id much rather deal with a helo pilot than them shytty dogs.

I know im in the minority with this but please tell me im not the only one feeling like this when i hear people talk about skills when they run around with twin pdws with extra speed, stalker etc

i feel you 100%. black ops 2 was where i started tyo loose interest. starting with MW2, COD was 80% of my gaming. even though then i ddidnt have the time have now to game, majority of it was dedicated to cod. but when black ops 2 dropped, i just wasn't feeling t like that. It was way too noob friendly like you said. the tactics totally went out the window and it turned into who ever sees you first gets the kill. and small ass maps. before that game shyt wasnt like that.

anyways what you saying about hardpoint i also agree and feel the same way with search and destroy. people calling that shyt tactical :mjlol: my boys talking about they wanna play something objective and tactical i tell them well if you wanted tactical play battlefield. cod feels like a arena shooter now and i guess thats why i like it. its something to fall back on thats quick and easy to get into. and not so serious. its just fun.

like i wont kid you, when i get a goliath or a paladin in AW im just cheesing like frieza as i pummel these inferior plebs from my touch screen

but that feeling doesnt feel that special....BUT i know you know that feeling is that much more serious when you get it in something like S&D. When someone plants the bomb and all of a sudden you hear enemy bombing run incoming :mjcry:

i feel like thats whats missing. I still remember how we'd trick the seals on i think its called fishhook into accidentally killing the hostages for us :laff: you will not find shyt like that anymore in games and its saddening

I hate the fact that COD watered everything down when they came on the scene. I just want a FPS where the guns are the stars, where physics matter. Some shyt where you think twice about running around the map like Rambo. Unfortunately with these realism light games selling so well, it doesn't seem like fans want the more realistic shooters.
The kiddies just wanna pull a rocket launcher out they ass while shooting from the hip with an AK, then magically switching to a knife killin cats like ninjas. shyt is Bo Bo as hell.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
There needs to be a shooter that is huge in scope, like 500+ players per side, sacrifice graphics and make the map huge with persistent ground / resource battles being the point. You want airsupport take over the airfield, you want more ammunition, take over the ammo storage facilites, a big map with air support & vehicles (manned by players) and all sorts of shyt will naturally lend itself to tactics. These companies been making the same fukking game over and over again now, I tried the Hardline demo and that shyt was pure sleep inducing, and I been hated COD for the lack of tactics that take place.

I'd like more of your take on AW. I find myself playing classic mode without the exo suit business more.

Also, why you ain't rock with BF4? It was my first battlefield and its hard

i can honestly say theres a point where the map is "too big" and i feel BF4 is like that

strangely i can say that KZ2 got that exactly right but thats not even close to a realistic shooter which ultimately made it play second fiddle for life to CoD

i think we're at a point that realistic shooters just dont make the money they used too and i saw that firsthand when they made Socom 4 which was a farce

I enjoy AW and while i like playing classic i hate the HUD and have always preferred hardcore since inception

now many will say hardcore makes the twitch pop out of door moments even that less forgiving it also makes you appreciate your surroundings due to not being spoonfed where your enemies are

its a trade off but within about a month of playing AW ive adjusted to the noob jumping tactics provided i know the spots they like, ive had to rely significantly more on hip fire because of this but its the only way

:usure: Its hard enough to get two people to attempt to take out a helicopter crew on battlefield. Too many people dont PTFO and you want to make more objectives:comeon:
