:russ: Dudes coming across as a used car salesman and that's no surprise to see the posters falling for it.

And for ya'll who holding out on him cause he ain't for reparations. Good for you! Cause here he is supporting reparations for his own. There should be a c00n or 1uper (gotta one up another man's post) coming in here to derail you from these facts because he did cosponsor that bill.

It is a fair comparison...they got paid for genocide..correct? That's War money...a war that last less than 5 years....Slavery lasted 400 years....old money is slave money u know that...we deserve to be compensated more because our suffering lasted longer....

Slavery was 244 years, Jim crow was 90 years

This is not reparations from the us government. It’s reparations from the French. The money was just distributed by the us government. Y’all should read bills instead of skimming through it.

Naw goes back to the 1500s allegedly..hell Columbus had slaves....my great grandfather was still a slave on paper in the early 1900s....his freedom was bought...we were emancipated in 1864-5(?) Don't know the correct year off the top of my head...it ended but alot the slave contracts had to be bought out...if they wasnt bought they turned into "servants"..maids butlers cooks etc....that's how my great grandparents met...she was a maid...he was a driver...

It’s not a fair comparison because it’s a difference of TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS. You can’t compare something that cost a couple of billion to something that costs trillions.

Ok bruh...u want to argue semantics...they were compensated for deliberate genocide....we have undergone deliberate genocide....crack epidemic was our Hiroshima....slavery was our gas chambers...millions died in transit or committed suicide by jumping in the ocean...I was making a genocide comparison...that's why I said it was fair....we have undergone genocide for more than four years...they got billions for four years...but I'm bein outlandish with trillions for four hundred years of genocide:stopitslime:

It's a bad comparison because the magnitude of something that would cost almost the entire GDP of the United States isn't comparable to something that costs a couple of billion. Not really sure what you're having a hard time understanding.

It's like complaining about your parents not being able to afford to buy you a Bugatti since they were able to afford giving your little brother a big wheel.
