Had dinner at the same spot they lifted Ivan and Alfredo from in Putero Vallerta, not that far back

This is from 2017, Rolling Stone piece, it's a good intro if one's interested, but a lot has happened since

All white, food is impressive, but the food truck outside, had shrimp burritos and tacos that were some of the best I had on the trip.

I sat right there, it's a luxury spot, with tasting menu, and right in the tourist zone, Mencho 100% gave the ok on that for it to happen. Ivan's entourage had like 7 all white cars pulled up, two range rovers, two trucks, two benzes.

a thug dies, another steps inside his shoes.

until we remove the black market for drugs then these people will keep appearing.

although people will say they find other avenues which is true but, the drug trade is a huge portion of their profits.

Mencho is not the monster the media can make him out to be, neither was El Senor, yes, monstrous things have been done under their flag, and they obviously order murders and kidnappings, but some of these make it seem like they are foaming at the mouth for blood. Mencho used to work in the Bay Area, trafficking heroin, he's into rooster fighting and gambling, he's not like the bad guy in a James Bond movie.

Regarding what? The Mencho quotes are in the article. They are like gentlemen farmers, very respectful, and traditional, Mencho is a little more charged up that Chapo, but they aren't like drinking virgin blood for fun. They are businessmen, who enjoy simple pleasures, gambling and narcorridos, women, food, family.
