Not having a flash suppressor on the barrel does NOT mean they aren't shooting blanks. That's the point being missed. Bruce Lee's son died because he got shot in the head with a blank round without using the flash suppressor. The guys in the OP's vid aren't American and aren't going to use the same standards for their simulation as we would since it would be even more apparent that this crap was fake.​
