The Carter 3 was mid when it came out why are people trying to rewrite history

Carter III got a pass simply because:
The album was leaked by DJ Chuck T out of revenge for Wayne dissing the DJs
There were still Wayne tracks getting leaked anyways so folks still want and brought the album off the strength of the singles alone. I remember when they had Wayne in rotation that whole Spring and Summer,
Compared to C4, C3 was better than that and I’m Not A Human Being.

That late 00s era was one of the worst era's in music history...PERIOD, not just in Hip Hop field. There was so much mediocrity and just lazy effort projects....and most of them aged like shyt.
I don't read those top something lists cause they suck most of the time, but I imagine if I tried finding one about top albums from 2008 of all genres, then Carter 3 would be somewhere at the top....cause really what albums do you remember from that year?

I hated lollipop when it dropped. I only checked out c3 because of his dope verse on "We Takin Over."
And aside from the lead single I thought the album was perfect. I think it was someone on sohh at the time that recommended I check out da drought 3 and dedications. I appreciate them for that cause they are certainly better.

Yea yall nikkas doing way too much now, Wayne's talent was solidified by the respect he received in the industry. Wayne legit might have the most peer respect in rap history but he's "mid"...yea that makes no sense. You're top 10 list has all hired wayne for features...damn near ALL OF THEM.....
