Knoll got them 4 wins in the 70s, but didn't do anything all of the 80s until he retired in 1991

Cowher didn't do much until he finally won in his 13th season. What coaches get to stick around for even 10 years without winning anything?

Tomlin was able to win early on, and while he hasn't won since his second season, they've never had a losing season. How many times have they lost in the past ten years when they were the favorites?

Bro I don't know where the notion comes from that Tomlin gives any fukks about that streak. That bullshyt comes from the people who hate him. They took something that should be looked as an accomplishment and turned it into something that is looked at negatively.

The Steelers have the cap room to sign Darnold and Tee Higgins if they want

If they want? Are the Vikings going to not extend Darnold an offer?

I'll never respect the (predominantly white) Tomlin haters in the media but at the end of the day...the playoff record isn't good enough. I was defending him a few weeks ago when it looked like the Steelers were legit but another embarrassing collapse tells me this is over. Next year is just gonna be another QB competition between a washed Russ and Justin Fields, who COULD revive his career with the right OC but he doesn't have that in Arthur Smith.

That defense has enough good to elite pieces to carry a DECENT offense. Yet they can't even do that.

Where? Considering the terrible defensive performances they’ve been trotting out there during his playoff tenure.

The Steelers are bad built
Invested wayyy too much money on defense while very little on offense

Heard 8 of their top10 players are on defense
And it makes for a pretty boring watch.

You are depending on your defense to hold the opponent to 17-20ppg, while having an offense that struggles to put up the same numbers

Is that why YOU had to attempt to make game-breaking plays for your team as a Punter?! :lolbron:

Being a defensive minded team and crying about having no shot against another team's offense is crazy.

My biggest concern with the Steelers is that they have no means to get a good veteran QB, never draft high and Tomlin needs a good OC to develop a rookie. They either need to get extremely lucky, or will be stuck as a treadmill team forever.

I don't know why he'd even want to coach there anymore, what's the 2025 plan?

Wilson is a good veteran qb he's not the issue
