If there was a team begging for a complete reboot it's Pittsburgh.

The defense is getting old and you have a 42 year old QB. It's over.

For sure

I think just getting rid of Tomlin and doing everything else the same is redundant

You don’t go 10 years without a playoff win because of a coach and nothing else

Difference with Tomlin is that he does the most with the least. It’s not entirely his fault, but we do have to point out the years of the Killer B’s and them failing in the playoffs also.

Back then I was saying he needed to go because he wasn’t a disciplinary. Since the (most likely because he has gotten older) he has figured that out but now he has a trash ass roster.

Fast forward to today and I don’t want to see him gone but something has to change and it all starts with the roster. How may of these players would be starting for other franchises?

Period point blank Tomlin has done the most with the least for what seven eight years now? I doubt he bounces for another job because he’s either in the same situation that he is here OR he goes to Baltimore and I don’t think he’d go to Baltimore personally.

Hopefully he stays here and Khan somehow pulls a rabbit out of his ass but I’m hoping and praying that they don’t bring Rogers back.

I don’t watch college but I have homies that do and they’re big on dude from Ole Miss and I been hearing that he could drop in the draft. Grab him and see what happens but we definitely need another WR, RB and an offensive line anchor.

Why is Pittsburgh against getting a young qb?
They haven't been in position to get one really, they blew it on Pickett. They also tried Trubisky and Fields but those guys are trash. Then they went the washed QB route with Russ and old man Rodgers.

They really need to get a high pick in next years draft to get a quality QB.

This is the issue you have with Tomlin, you’re never going to be trash enough to get a top ten pick so you have to settle for what’s out there on the market or reach for a QB in the draft.

shyt Malik Willis is a free agent and there were talks about drafting him but they pivoted towards Pickett because he was from Pitt and they were terrified of missing on him like they did Marino back in the day.

My issue with this list and the sentiment towards Tomlin is that you are punishing consistency and success and rewarding failure. Would missing the playoffs be better?

Pittsburgh is the only team in their division to make the playoffs in each of the last 3 years. Their division features Burrow and Lamar. They have trotted Pickett, Trubisky, Rudolph, Fields, Flabby Russ, and Mummified Rodgers out there at QB. And instead of "How he keep getting these nikkas in the playoffs?" the narrative is "he keeps losing in the playoffs with squads that have no business being there...its time for change" :dahell:

I reject the idea of change for the sake of change (and clearly Pittsburgh does too). Unless you believe that Pittsburgh has been some contender that has been let down by coaching these last few years, I don't see how Tomlin is getting anything other than props.
