In my case, my bm already had housing and stamps, w/ no child. Most cities and states will give a childless woman stamps and a crib if she stays in the shelter for a week or two (10 years ago...now it's a few months)...A high percentage of them were influenced by THEIR single mother to do the same thing so the original home could have more room to raise the kids who were under the cutoff age.

Food, clothes, transportation, shelter, DAYCARE costs the same for the kid regardless of who its parents are, unless the parents are giving the kid a low quality life
