Yall severely overstate on the ball defense. The league is basically screens, switches, 3s, and layups. Elite defense is not needed from that backcourt to succeed. Plus, elite players are going get theirs anyway. Its a team game.

Small defensive backcourt of Garland/Mitchell but you got Allen/Mobley as your backline of defense, they should be more than good. Cavs gonna be a must watch team, Koby Altman really put in work re-building after Kyrie/Bron's departure.

On Cleveland's end @jaguar paw I see it as they traded a guard they didn't wanna pay 60% of what he got, a forward who fell into their lap in Markannen and essentially 4 1's. The picks hurt, but y'all got 2 years to see whether Mitchell functions there while Allen, Mobley and Garland are locked up for the future regardless. The only real gamble is whether Mitchell hates it there anyway.


Ainge is a pump faker extraordinare, but he got in essence 2 starters and 4 picks in each trade.
