Raptors won a ring with lowry and fvv.

Conley and mitch had the best record in the league two years ago.

With their rim protectors, their size is fine

Lowry and Fred were elite defenders tho Garland is ok but Mitchell has been terrible....We can say with there bigs being great it will cancel it out but why didnt it in Utah with Gobert ? I think you just live with his lack of defense and hope his offense carries when it counts...

I’m honestly not high on Mitchell. While I think Cleveland has a nice core for the future I don’t like how much they gave up. After being a big time Sexton hater, I now think he’s very underrated

damn this is a pretty good offer

Back then the Jazz were feeling themselves after that Hobert trade and were making ludicrous demands like 6 1sts. They came down to earth when they realized they weren’t getting that from anybody. Problem is the Knicks already offered them 3 1sts so the Jazz weren’t gonna take a diminished offer from them. Sucks for NYC...no team needs a superstar as bad as them..

Mitchell isn't a superstar though. Jalen Brunson can be just as good as Mitchell

It’s an interesting trade, and honestly it’s a good trade for Cleveland, if there is any time to go for it it’s now for the cavs, same thing with atl, I like when front offices actually try to make something happen
But why? Why is now a good time for them to go all in? Team is still very young. Showed promise but missed the playoffs. Your 2 best players are still developing and you add a high volume scorer, while losing multiple picks and some young players. I don’t see the why this year was an all in year for the Cavs

Mitchell wants to play with Garland, Allen, and Mobley. He’s happy about the trade.

Cavs are going into this season without a starting SF and lack of perimeter defense in it’s back court as well as a lack of shooting.

This can also have a negative effect on Mobley’s growth on offense as he will now be the third option going into a pivotal 2nd year for growth.
Cavs got the clear best player in trade. That's never a loss. He's a finisher which the team needed while core matures

I can tell a lot of brehs didn't watch Cavs ball last season :skip:
Allen is basically Gobert with a consistent offensive game, I'm sure if Utah had Mobley next to Gobert they would have gone farther. I probably already said it but people forget that the Cavs were the 2/3 seed up until the All Star break, then they got destroyed by injuries. The Cavs defense with Mobley, Allen and Lauri was fukking death when they were all healthy.

I don’t think it’s unrealistic to believe Sexton could develop into a Donovan Mitchell-esque player
I am a Sexton fan for life but he has a weird play style that I'm not certain is conducive to consistent winning. He needs to really embrace 3's but his heart is set on attacking the basket, and his bbiq isn't high compared to the usage he needs to be effective.
