I am a Sexton fan for life but he has a weird play style that I'm not certain is conducive to consistent winning. He needs to really embrace 3's but his heart is set on attacking the basket, and his bbiq isn't high compared to the usage he needs to be effective.
Honestly, I think a lot of that is overblown. Especially the attacking the basket vs 3s. I do think he needs to grow his IQ more but what is he? 23? 24? Still really young. I think Cleveland gave up on him too fast tbh.

There’s a player in there.

I like how the Cavs went for it similar to how the twolves did. Perennial losers(minus Bron years) gotta go for it.

With that being said tiny guards are not gonna get it done. They are gonna get destroyed and it stunts Mobley’s growth

Mobley will be a star. Don't make me bookmark this shyt

Need to say more unassisted scoring before im a believer...Garland assisted on 80% of his buckets thats not a star....
I can tell a lot of brehs didn't watch Cavs ball last season :skip:
Allen is basically Gobert with a consistent offensive game, I'm sure if Utah had Mobley next to Gobert they would have gone farther. I probably already said it but people forget that the Cavs were the 2/3 seed up until the All Star break, then they got destroyed by injuries. The Cavs defense with Mobley, Allen and Lauri was fukking death when they were all healthy.

Leave Markkanan out of this had little do with him and Allen is good but hes not Gobert level the numbers indicate that...

But why? Why is now a good time for them to go all in? Team is still very young. Showed promise but missed the playoffs. Your 2 best players are still developing and you add a high volume scorer, while losing multiple picks and some young players. I don’t see the why this year was an all in year for the Cavs
why is this trade considered an all in move? I see it as the cavs took an opportunity to add a 25 year old star to an great young core. Garland & Mobley both are 21 and the sky is the limit for both. Allen is a 24 year old all star center. You’re way over valuing Sexton, Ochai & Markenen. The 3 1sts is the only thing debatable but if Mobley, Allen & garland continue to grow alongside Mitchell. Those picks won’t be shyt. We have our core set in stone as all of our best guys are not only young but are all stars with Mobley having the potential to be the franchise.

Cleveland shytted on there own asset’s value. Collin was putting up 24-3-4 on 48/37/82 splits at 22 years old. Regardless of rhetoric, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player put up those type of numbers at that age and garner zero FA attention.

They said the 3 big lineup wouldn’t work :wow::russ:

Now we got guys bringing up sextons 24 ppg like that was an indication of all star level play. But truth be told he was put in that situation out of necessity. Watched young bull put up 20 shots, ignore his teammates & forced 2s. And I been a fan since he was drafted in 2018. Im from here..

If you look at Sextons number before he got hurt WAS Mitchell, the numbers are identical....
It’s uncanny how similar there numbers are at the age of 22. Same height too. The big difference of course is the team success but I think coaching and team construction has a lot more to do with it than “Mitchell is just carrying his team. He’s a dog”.

Didn’t know unassisted scoring was a requirement of what makes a star :deadrose:
