Comparing their record from this year to last year is nonsense given this is arguably the most wide open, parity filled year in the history of the league with the least discrepancy between teams and seeds. This year is tougher than last season and last years Cavs team would not have this record. Also, last years Cavs team was one of the best teams in basketball before they flamed out and came down to earth later in the season with injuries playing a part.

3. The Cavs this year have had their fair share of injuries up and down the roster.

4. The Cavs are second in the league in margin of victory while having had one of the toughest schedules in the league so far this season.

5. The Cavs have beaten every team in the East except Brooklyn.

6. The Cavs defense is even better than last year as they are second in the league in defensive rating.
