The problem for them is that Mitchell would be better off waiting to become a FA and getting that 5th year, which only Cleveland can offer.

He’s already lost out on a supermax with the trade to Cleveland. Is he willing to miss out on more bread by forcing a trade?

With that being said, Mobley is starting to develop a 3pt shot so if this is what it takes to get him more touches, then cool with me.

Is it though? He could make more money by waiting to be a FA. He gains nothing by signing now.

of course but im saying he's not staying as a Cav. They're going to end up trading him this summer before he bolts in free agency next summer. It would make no sense to pay him that much when they're not even successful with him.

Here’s what’s gonna happen

The Lakers will lose the play in.

Cavs will lose round 1 again.

Lebron will want out and the lakers will want him out.

Cavs will trade Mitchell to LA, Lebron will end his career with one more brief stint in Cleveland

:yeshrug: Only thing that makes sense for both teams

It’s been reported recently that Bron does not want to go to the East coast.
