His performances thus far still doesn’t change that notion as he will still have to prove it during playoff time and not be a turnstile on defense like he was last year. We know he can get buckets, but so can a lot of other players as well.

Cleveland doesn’t give af about “fit” the team is built unconventional and it works. Besides y’all are going to stop underestimating DG. He has the ability to play both off and on extremely well. Bickerstaff also has off ball plays for Mitch. Which he has ran while allowing Caris to run the offense3 games into the season. Why are y’all acting like it’s the NFL

But, again, that's never been for debate. People need to compare what NY would have looked like with Donovan and Cleveland with Donovan.
The Knicks would have
- Given up way more of their proportional talent in comparison to the the Cavs roster.
- As a result, would have been a worse team post trade.
I specifically do it in the playoff time when it matters most. A lot of guys can get buckets in the playoffs but being a two way player makes all the difference. Mitchell hasn’t shown that he can be that type of player even with high level he’s played on offense.
