Sign Deng in 2014 or go after a top 7 player in Kevin Love a year later?

What sounds smarter to you? :comeon:

It sounds smarter to get love but most likely they resign pau and add deng and get yo ass bust in the 2nd round til kobe retires

Deng’s camp saw Josh Smith sign for $14 million annually with the Pistons last summer and figured Deng’s value as higher.

 If a team really pays 14+ million for Deng in the summer.

My brother's keeper
Oh he'll be on the Heat. I know. And I am furious.

Sucks to watch your favorite team build the best core in the league the right way in a small market, which is nearly impossible, just to be undermined by bandwagon ringchasing superteam fakkits and inept management giving away key pieces for pennies on the dollar, very frustrating to watch
The right way is to win breh, fukk your prescription

The Cavs have at least made themselves better in the short term and will now probably make the playoffs. I don't know what this means for the Bulls until I see what they do in free agency this upcoming offseason. Obviously they have given up on this season but I think they have a long term goal and I have to wait to see what they do until I can judge them. They got multiple picks and will have more money freed up for this summer. Plus they got rid of Deng who is soon to be a free agent and has probably played his best basketball. And they weren't going anywhere with there core as currently constructed. So it was time for them to make a move in order for them to retool (not rebuild) so they can compete with Miami and Indiana.

Y'all forget that once released Bynum will have to clear waivers before he can be signed by Miami or the clippers and the teams who can sign him go by win loss records first.

Good move by the bulls and good move by the CAvs

I doubt anyone wants to pay $6 million for him for the remainder of the year when he hasn't shown a desire to play ball.

I also don't think Miami would be in a rush they aren't trying to fukk their chemistry up...

You high? Pistons won't trade Drummond

Are you high?
The bulls could have traded deng for the pick that was used to draft Drummond. Deng for the 5th or 7th pick was available.

Obviously nobody would trade Drummond for deng now

I said the bulls made the move too late.

Win/Win and better than the Pau idea. And if Luol wants similar money in the summer the Cavs don't even have to pay him.

Only negative is the Cavs are gonna mess up draft position, Deng fills a huge hole on offense and is instantly the best defensive player on the team.
