Before last season, Tyreke and the 5th pick was on the table for Luol Deng.

That pick could have been Drummond or Harrison Barnes. I'm assuming that's what he's referring to.

Am I right @houston911 ?

Nah the tyreke part was supposed to be a rumor

The picks were allegedly true though

I think there is a difference between trying to lose on purpose and trying to improve your team for the future.
Tanking is tanking. If you can make the playoffs but trade away pieces just so you can lose and be a lottery team it's bad for the game. All this fukking losing just for Wiggins and Parker? I know there's Embiid and Randle and Smart but come on fam this is bad for the league.

It's bad for the game to plan for the future? The teams are still going to try and play to win so it's not like they are half-assing it on the court. They could still end up in the playoffs with the way things are. People just overblow tanking.

This tanking shyt has to stop. Adam Silver is going to have to do something to stop all these teams trying to tank. It's bad for the league.
But losing on purpose to assure getting Harrison Barnes was A-OK right? :beli:

What do you want Silver to do? Order the Bulls to win? Shiiiiiiiiiiitttttttt

The names Parker, Wiggins and Bulls, shouldn't even be the same sentence. We have no chance at these cats. :bryan: at people thinkin this is a real possibility

Bulls :smh:

First let Miami run trains on your ass in two playoffs without putting up a fight, then release Bynum just so they can pick him up
Bynum going to the Heat locks up another championship for them:wow:, no way I can see anyone beating them with a lineup of

Chalmers
Wade
Bron
Bosh
Bynum

What if we're trading pieces away to gain something for someone that was gonna walk and leave us with nothing:stopitslime:

Deng wanted more than we were willing to give him why we didn't come to an agreement on an extension.

I posted a podcast in the Bulls thread a few hours ago in which one of our beat reporters says that his guess was that Deng was gonna walk and the organization felt the same way.

So we're supposed to just let dude walk and get nothing in return?
