Once again, when our #tankexpress left the station our 2 best players was injured and we traded Monta for Bogut which was a come up even tho he was injured. We lost purposely because we wasn't going to be competitive with the roster we had and the playoffs wasn't a possibility so we tanked to keep our pick not to get a better higher pick. If we won 1 more game we would've lost our pick. If we lost a coin flip with Toronto we would've lost our pick, if the lotto drawing didn't go in proper order we would've lost our pick. If there was ever a reason to tank it was what I listed above.
How do you think Chicago feels? That's like being mad at the Bucks for finally bottoming out when they could just make their usual 8th seed run every year. At some point teams wanna press the reset button. Milwaukee's doing it. Utah's doing it. Philly's doing it. Orlando did it. It happens. On the flip side, Minny wants in. NO wants in. Charlotte and Detroit want in. Phoenix was tank culprit Exhibit A and now THEY want in.
Derrick Rose is out AGAIN. I don't think a soul woulda blamed them had they tanked LAST YEAR.
I will say this much, the only time tanking is LAME as hell is when you have a player to build around (in other words, tanking is only acceptable if you're looking to find that franchise player. Otherwise if you have one, you're telling him he's not good enough)
