Clipse is second though

Powerful postingOn the internet, anytime something is really popular or gaining attention, a contrarian sub culture forms to soak up the engagement from the opposite view.
This is the internet. Instead of focusing on what you like, people take what someone else likes and does dissertations on subjects they claim to not like or care about.
Nowhere in life do people focus on things they do not like or care about more than on the internet. It’s an unnatural instinct to contrarianism created by the incessant need for engagement.
People that are not interesting or engaging have found a new life in just disagreeing with the masses as a personality trait. It’s annoying.
The reality is when someone who doesn’t have GOAT expectations experiences something raw with no expectations they appreciate it in a different way than someone that has been primed to expect greatness. On the internet, anytime something is really popular or gaining attention, a contrarian sub culture forms to soak up the engagement from the opposite view.

Which is why you're not a content creator, you're just a random nikka on an internet chatboard.… Doggie is utilizing a topic that he knows is trending amongst HIS audience and people that would find themselves interested in his kind of content to maintain traction… especially with the chat around the Travis diss ... He's an engagement farmer, its not just a Clipse thing its the general style content creation on his channel.… low hanging fruit content meant to rage bait for clicks.… “top x lists” “overrated underrated” “hot takes” etc…. A lot of people have been reduced to this over the years and with so much competition in the content space… as seen in his videos belowBut If I want engagement and clicks I’m not gonna use the clipse. The video we are talking about has 5,000 views btw.
Gangster and a Gentleman is better than any Lox or Clipse album. If Clipse were from NY they would not be labeled overrated.
The Lox have no classic albums as a collective or solo artists but Clipse are overrated![]()
Their album is coming out and he voiced his opinion.Breh I'll be in this thread until July 11th or you answer the question.![]()
Their album is coming out and he voiced his opinion.
So according to you, there is no correlation between the timing of sharing this opinion of the Clipse and the current anticipation of their album?

It’s not about NY. This nikka Doggie Diamonds hates on NY nikkas too. nikka just a bitter hater all around. Was gonna say this. There's this subset of tri-state dudes from a certain age bracket that's extra weird about Clipse. They jock tri-state artists that made music in the same lane and it bother them that Clipse was critical darlings for a minute and got a more enduring cult following.
If Clipse are overrated it's by a very small group. Lord Willin they had a couple tracks that was big in real time and it sold well. Since then they been more of a niche group. They and Pusha specifically may get outsized props in comparison to their mainstream visibility from some of the hipster hypebeast crowd. As a result of making a weirder, artsier version of your standard coke rap with Pharrell and Kanye. But if they was from Harlem, this wouldn't bother most these detractors.
