To keep on listening to Hip Hop and to learn more about it's history.

I feel so dumb compared to some posters on here :to:

Personal: Become a monster. Flow, delivery, production, melodies, all that boosted up.
Believe in myself all day, everyday.
Form artistic and/or business relationships.
Check for more new artists.
Do more homework on old artists other than those I know.

Hip-Hop in general: Artists who deserve plaques/recognition get them.
Cole puts the boring/can't produce shyt to rest with the new album.
Drake makes an album that doesn't emotionally drain me.
A dope sound rises, other than trap and trap off-shoots. Its been 8 years.
More competition in the game/on-wax battles. Everybody's fukking friends.

To destroy all the :flabbynsick: hip hop fans of the coli that use cliche terms like "Hip Hop is dead" or "he sold out". :ahh:

Finish my instrumental project and then maybe release a rap album. I got some songs recorded but I need to polish my flow. Monetize my radio show more and network alot more! Hip hop wise? Give more people a listen and be open minded. I think I'm turning into a future fan from a few listens. Sometimes hiphop is just about good music no matter the subject matter or whatever. Just want to make a little noise with my music in 2013

Another resolution I have for Hiphop/rap is that we don't have to witness another Chief Keef album. Here's to hoping his career ended in 2012! :krs:

Personal: Slow down and enjoy an album before moving on to the newest release. I notice myself doing this far too often. This year more than ever. The spoils of having access to all the piff that is released. It's a gift and a curse I tell ya.

Hip Hop Music: Continue to grow. Continue with this trend of well known vets on the boards working with young, hungry up and coming talent on albums. More surprises like El-P and Killer Mike's album. Turned out to be one of the top releases of the years. So more of that.

Not really a resolution but I think I'm starting to move away from a lot of mainstream modern hip-hop. Not completely but I'm getting interested in lyrics again. I still don't like extreme lyricism but there's a medium that a few rappers reach that really keeps me interested. I'm also starting to appreciate less cussing in a song. There's still a bunch of times were I'll play some bangers and just crazy ass shyt, but for the most part I'm enjoying older hip-hop.

Not even trying to be a elitist, just heard that new wayne track, and was bored cause I've already him make the same music in the same way a billion times. Same goes for people like Wiz and them
