My New Years Resolution is to write a comprehensive breakdown and analysis of Nas's Hip Hop Is Dead and Life Is Good albums. Two separate threads discissing and disecting the amount of detail that went into the lyrical craftsmanship of those projects. Nas is one of the deepest and most poetical writers in black literature and I aim to prove it

Thats not something you can really prove..its not a science
Its all left to the people's opinion :blessed:

His two best projects since Illmatic IMO. Good luck on that!

Minaj already rang in the new year in a blonde Peggy Bundy bangs wig.

We already started off on a bad foot. :snoop:

Personal: Become a monster. Flow, delivery, production, melodies, all that boosted up.
Believe in myself all day, everyday.
Form artistic and/or business relationships.
Check for more new artists.
Do more homework on old artists other than those I know.

Hip-Hop in general: Artists who deserve plaques/recognition get them.
Cole puts the boring/can't produce shyt to rest with the new album.
Drake makes an album that doesn't emotionally drain me.
A dope sound rises, other than trap and trap off-shoots. Its been 8 years.
More competition in the game/on-wax battles. Everybody's fukking friends.

Finish my instrumental project and then maybe release a rap album. I got some songs recorded but I need to polish my flow. Monetize my radio show more and network alot more! Hip hop wise? Give more people a listen and be open minded. I think I'm turning into a future fan from a few listens. Sometimes hiphop is just about good music no matter the subject matter or whatever. Just want to make a little noise with my music in 2013

You and me both brother. Check out my music in the links in my sig and let me know what you think in those threads. :smugdraper:

Good Thread

As A Fan:

- Continue to be more open musically and discover new music.

- Share the music that I find with more friends and open discussions about music with acquaintances that I haven't before. (I know too many :ohlawd: white women with whom I never discuss music because they listen to shyt I've never heard of and that's gotta change)

- Go to more live shows. :blessed:

As An Artist:

- Release a new project.

- Continue to progress and share the :eat: with my Coli fam.

- Release more videos/visuals this year. My first video is doing some decent combined #'s in a few months. Peep below:
