already saw this when it first came out but i watched it again last night and didnt like it as much as i did 2 years ago

Well Im in the minority apparently because I thought this movie was shyt. The found footage format was gimmicky and I didnt buy the reasoning the film provided for it. On top of that they didnt even stick to it and started incorporating traditional filming techniques as it went on lol. Whats the point? The actors did well for the most part but I didnt find them likeable. The Mexicans were all stereotypes. And a couple of super-bro, douchebag cops? Thats who Im supposed to root for?
Nah. So when the ending came it was predictable AND I didnt care about them either way. White guy gets to live on having been taught a valuable lesson by his martyr minority friend 
Training Day is the only one in this series that I enjoyed.

I liked this.
I get tired of seeing the ethnic dudes lay down their lives for their white pal. It happens to often. Not race baiting or anything, one of my hispanic homies told me that's why he hated the movie. Then after it marinated on my mind, I was kind of shytty about it too. However, I still thought it was solid. Real good action, good chase scenes. Story was easy to follow and not too complicated. Acting wasn't great, but far from disappointing. 6/10

why was the ending sad? because a pig died? that's a happy ending.

I agree with your hispanic friend 100%.
Outside of that ending tho, the movie was just ok. Not bad, not spectacular in any way, which is why until this thread, I never thought to pop it in and don't recommend it to any of my friends.

Pace was good, character development on the main characters were good, dialogue didn't seem forced, plot was okay.
