I was born in 1994 and I've followed the sport on and off since 2002. So I'll pick a team based on my life span, a team that might not be objectively the best, but the one comprised of the players I enjoyed watching the most.

A couple of things you'll notice is that I have a Serie A bias, and that I have a bias tending towards 90s and 00s more so than 10s, especially late 10s. This is because of the nature of my football fandom. I followed Serie A the most, and I followed the sport the most during the 00s.
I don't consider Cronaldo or Messi as pure strikers. They are better out wide and playing behind a proper striker, respectively, than they are at leading the line themselves. And in any case, the original Ronaldo was just.. better. Deal with it.
If I had to pick an XI from this I think 4-2-3-1 suits the best. Kahn, Daniel Alves, Cannavaro, Nesta, Cole, Makelele, Zidane, Cronaldo, Messi, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo. It pains me to have to omit Samuel Eto'o, but there you go
