westbrook will win mvp but i voted for harden because he overachieved more than anybody thought while putting up crazy numbers on a team with no other all star.
nobody had the rockets at 55 wins and the 3rd best record in the league before the year.
you shouldn't be mvp if your team hasn't won at least 50 games historically.
oscar robertson didn't win mvp when he averaged a triple double.
kobe averaged 35 ppg and lead his team to the playoffs but lost because his team only won 45 games.
by the criteria for mvp throughout the past few decades, harden and kawhi and the only real mvp candidates but it is what it is.
