The Deep State
you are looking at it from inside the system/market and not outside and seeing how you are nothing more than a manipulative number, the flavor of the month for the 1 percent to use until you are no longer an asset
nikka. I'm getting a little tired of doing this dance with you.

Especially when you act like you're not out here in the rat race too, probably scrouging up for NIH grants :duck:, ...if STEM had an extra "M" then you'd know what I do for a living....anyways...

lets be honest here.

whats your goal in arguing with me?

These people major in bullshyt and life WILL be harder for them.

There are no opportunities for them.

Why should there be?

If you want all these things to be respected, then tell me who should employ these people and why.

I'm not arguing that someone whose education is solely the humanities should be employed but that everyone should have a background in humanities before they pursue a more tangible education.

I think people too many people think about being employed instead of creating their own employment, then again the system does not want small business owners and self-employment

You are a product of the system and you have an expiration date already assigned to your utility. Be prepared.

let me requote this since you ain't answer.

How the fukk do you "get" a more diverse job market...
tell me why english majors deserve the same employment opportunities as...chemists.

Cause without english majors that become teachers, book editors, publishers, and so on for various forms of entertainment and in education, ya ass wouldn't be able to read. :umad: If anything, we should appreciate those majors more and tell young people that it is possible for you to do anything and good opportunities for employment and ownership is possible. People gas up the hard majors as the ONLY way for you to make money in this country, which isn't healthy for the economy.

People go on to these STEM majors and predesignated jobs, only to be under someone else's control, instead of CREATING their own job. The system does not gear us to think with the mind of an individual out of coincidence. Napoleon is the extreme outcome of saturation, hyper capitalism and wealth inequality. Turn them into sharks and have them duke it out for the scraps :lolbron:

The sad thing is that the STEM majors are gonna get outsourced by technology in the next 2 decades.

You know what's a trip? There's an illusion that getting college scholarships is easy, like they grow on trees. :comeon:

I'm looking at scholarships to fund my senior year, ok? So I call my financial aid office. I ask for information. He points me to a webpage full of "options."

Every damn scholarship has criteria that basically weeds out people that aren't already "in deep" with the businesses and organizations offering the scholarships. :scusthov:

There's literally nothing out there that I qualify for. :to:

30 years old...non traditional... 3.2 GPA while working full time. I'll be damned. :snoop:

:pacspit: these student loans :to:

Bruh, there are so many schollies that u can get. U just have to know how to get them. I knew this chick that got a schlarship for left handed people. No joke

My brother's keeper
hat is more disturbing is that colleges don't encourage innovative thinking for people to create their own businesses. It trains people to be permanent employees and for a way for them to stay at borderline poverty.

Not everybody can create a business. Most people are risk averse. How many of them can even raise the capital if they wanted to? It's foolish. A lot of entrepreneurs spent years working for other people and learning the ins and outs of the respective industry, building connections, developing significant savings, THEN branching out...you know what they needed before all that? Formal education.
