Combat stopped posting here after that 2Pac thread ?

Just finished listening to this.
Really interesting in hearing his story, I never knew much about his Fugees background
Premium Pete was in his element with this prison talk.
@CombatJack You need to get Premium Pete his own podcast interviewing ex-bidders..shyt will be a smash![]()
no offense to the dude, idk what he was in prison for but it annoys me every time he brings it up, you would swear he did 20 years the way he sounds at times What tupac thread?![]()

I know a bit about combats background but what's this dudes background in the music industry?
I really enjoyed this episode, I never really knew much about John Forte. I remember hearing his name on Wyclef verses and production notes, but then listened to his cd, I think it was called Poly-Sci, at a record store once and didn't like it. I want to listen to I, John since lately I have been listening to more much music and music with depth as I approach my 30s.
I also enjoyed listening to the movie-like way Forte got involved in drug running then served a lengthy prison term from coming from an ivy league background. The Fugees are an interesting group, I listened to the champs podcast about a year or so ago and Pras was just as an engaging. It was a blend of highly educated, African-American youth who felt disenfranchised in one way or another and each crafted a lengthy and interesting narrative.
