Dame fell off but I don't think dude is doing THAT bad.
He's an arrogant a$$hole. If he really was dirt broke he wouldn't have been on the show.

Breh, Dame hasn't seen a camera/microphone he didn't love. If he was so broke he lived in a box under a bridge, he'd still do any interviews requested of him.
That more than anything seems to be the biggest difference between Jay-Z and Dame. As someone once put it, Jay is the type to run from the cameras, Dame is the type to run to them. Nothing wrong with either mentality, and it made a great business partnership for many years.

I don't know..Dame has been pretty low key these days.
If it was a random interview then maybe but Combat Jack has thrown shade at him before and he KNEW Just was gonna be mad at him and still showed up.
And Jay is the type to run from the cameras?
The same Jay who hops on every trend and is pictured every other day with Beyonce?

Because no one wants to talk to him if he's not gonna spill the beans on what really went down with Roc-A-Fella. He's given the same interview with generic ass answers about it for years. Eventually outlets probably just gave up. You think he was getting a lot of emails asking to speak to him about his art galleries?
It doesn't sound like he even knew much about the show.
How much press does dude do though? Yeah he's pictured out a lot, because people take photos of him everywhere he goes.
You can criticize Jay for a lot of things (trend hopping would be at the top of the list to be sure), but media hungry, at least for the last 10 or so years, isn't one of them.
"
Its official. At the end of the interview Just Blaze takes an even BIGGER L.
He recants damn near his entire argument.
just blaze and his long azz stories. daymmmn.
All of that said, the rap game is certainly a whole lot less interesting without Dame in it. I was excited when he was doing that whole DD172 thing a few years back with Ski, Curren$y and em, but it seems like he just doesn't wanna fukk with the music game, and I can't blame him. The music industry seems to have the most snake like a$$holes in the world, and if there isn't even much money in it anymore, why bother if you don't gotta
We all know Dame is an a$$hole to the fullest, but he doesn't strike me as the ass kisser type . I don't think it's so much he doesn't want to deal with the rap game no more, I think it's more so he burned too many bridges with his personality or wasn't up for sucka stroking the right people to stay afloat.
