a good lesson from this interview is be careful how you treat people when you winning because maybe one day you will be losing and that person is winning. think about who Dame was to Just Blaze at one point...now think of the dynamic, lol. I'm sure Just has more paper than Dame at this point, and definitely has more power in the industry. Just allowed him to do the show, he didn't need him as a guest at all, it's a favor to let dude promote his shyt. Dame had to sit there and be barked on and ridiculed by a dude who used to be his slave, lol.. he handled it like an arrogant harlem nikka but still, Just is the one who's Up now. life is humbling man, treat everybody good.

Dame sonned that nikka throughout the whole interview.. What were you listening to?

:what:

JUST TURNED ON the interview.. but Im reading your comments. YALL WERENT THERE. why y'all going on Just. We all saw vids of Dame belittling people. Y'all would be the same way if Dame went on y'all. take your personal feelings out of it. I mean damn..

Just was hired help.. back then he probably couldnt speak his mind.

Dude wasn't taking anything away from Just Blaze and hell, Kanye made the beat that we all know that Dame wanted Just Blaze to make

But the fact of the matter is, dudes don't like to know how to play their roles from time to time.

Dame is an arrogant a$$hole, but that dude was QBing the hell out of the ROC.

I think Dame was trolling Combat Jack with the comments.
They apparently knew each other from way back. I see your points, though.

I can't agree with the Jay being media shy thing. If anything, he's the PR king of hiphop. He may not be as obnoxious as Diddy but he definitely wants to stay in the limelight. He may not personally enjoy it, but he's the type of guy to sacrifice some of his privacy to keep his "brand" hot.

Reggie aka (Combat Jack) was an entertainment attorney. Puff was his client during the heyday of badboy. Rock a fella was his client during then height of the Roc and all kinds of stuff inbetween. He wrote a lot of deals, bought a lot of rappers to lables, and was around all of the fcukery of the 90's through mid 00's.. If you never read his old blogs he wrote about 5 years ago after he stopped practicing you should. They're pretty much required reading for anyone looking for good hip hop stories/history. So so so so much good stuff.

Here are the first ones he wrote on ByronCrawford.com. http://www.byroncrawford.com/2005/04/i_smoked_a_blun.html
He eventually he started his own blog and then him Dallas Penn started the radio show w JB and the rest of them filling in the cast.

:what:
Im listening right now....Just is so heated!!
Dude must have been thinking about this for years!!!

Im starting to think Dame isnt that much of an a$$hole...its just that these Hip Hop cats are really sensitive.

and :deadmanny: at the fact that every time someone from the industry is on the show they mention Combat Jack jerk rappers on their contracts.

At the beginning Dame said that when he realized how fukked up the deals Jack was writing for Dames artist he (Dame) went back and fixed it for the artist.
Jack was then like "bu bu they were all written like that back in the"

Essentially it sounds like dude is your stereotypical snake like lawyer.

The beta male will never be the alpha, no matter how much money he gets.

I don't think dame was an alpha, because if you know you have people working fo ryou, and your the boss, you make sure your people are happy. If they aren't they can fukk your shyt up, and keep it moving. When you fall off, they will make sure you can't come back. Dame ego was so big, that he couldn't help build up other people without shytting on them. I bet if they did that to him, he would be hating them. He's like a big child.

If anything Jay was the Alpha because he played the game right.

Yeah, he, and Ed woods, had the osse&woods firm that had a lot of hot clients at the time. Ed woods was the guy that Cory & peter gunz was arguing with.

Reggie seemed cool to me, but ed seemed like he talked too much, and his mouth would get him in trouble. Sometimes you got to know when to shut up.
