I understand that. but I saw more maturity out of him in this interview and I think he grew up. at the same time, back in the heyday of the roc he got a lot done for his squad and he still showed tough love to them at the same time. its too bad that just and them dont like to be told what to do, and then ridiculed for it when they were fukking up, but thats what it looks like.

thats not what it looks like. it looks like, just was working like a mad man. did you not hear jus say "we were in the studio 3 days STRAIGHT, i didnt even SHOWER"

stop right there. you didnt hear dame say "you lying, no you wasnt, you were lazy"

you can never call a man lazy thats working that hard for something that isnt in his own name. he worked his part as a producer like he was also a partner in the ROC.

he was killing himself for that label. and thats how it should be when we all are young dudes trying to blow. we all have to give it a 110%. dame made the mistake of ASSUMING he would know that those last two songs he handed him were more priority then the other OFFICIAL album songs he was working on at the time. the album songs had deadlines that had to be met. these 2 songs didnt have a deadline attached. thats dame's fault for not clarifying that.

3 days for a song? when dame asked kanye to do shyt like that he did it in one day. and look where kanye is with that kind of work ethic. if you want to be objective about it, you can see what just blaze does on his own time when hes not being pushed.

its next to nothing. the only way peope remember just blaze these days is from his work almost a decade ago. years go by and we barely get a just produced album. yet, hes talented enought to do it. see, more than likely, on those hard days at work where hes missing deadlines, just finds himself with enough time to buy a fake ass jersey, rock some girly belt buckle, and fool around until he manages to fukk up his hours when he supposed to be making records. and a lot of his samples arent that deep anyways, this aint jay dilla, beatminerz, or premere we talking about here.

so yeah, Im sure he was killing himself. in the meantime, everyone who wants to be on top has to work and meet deadlines.

you think its a coincidence that just blaze doesnt have the output that he used to... you think saigon, his label, and his other works havent been as fast as it used to be (which is not even close to kanyes output, either) for no reason? I can see that he needed to be hurried. thats a boss job to see it, too. just made his best work with the roc, and thats not even a question. he needs to put down the star wars figs and rhinestone belts and meet deadlines. maybe then we could have had more just blaze work out now.

To be fair, Just Blaze has had plenty of hits post Dame Dash Rocafella, secondly your not going motivate employees by making them feel like shyt, plus the bulk of Rocafella's catalog is Just Blaze not Kanye.

Im not saying dame had to make them feel like shyt. Im saying he pushed his artists because they needed to be pushed.

just does not have a fraction of the work people are feeling, or even getting, as compared to when he was on rocafella. on top of that, his business is severely slowed up, and his artists arent doing all that much. hes missing that kind of dame dash to look out for him. if just wasnt such a delicate diva and didnt come off as a high pitched whiner on this radio show, I might have agreed with you more. but I see that just doesnt know how to take the good with the bad, and he couldnt compose himself and admit when he might have been wrong. hes acting like hes on jerry springer confronting an ex lover. dame actually apoligized. just was soft about this whole shyt.

bottomline, from what Im seeing, just does not know how to push himself. dame teased him because he wore funny clothes and failed to be on time and do what was asked for. its not much more than that.

Might be a late pass but :ohhh: at the subs Dame threw at Jay. "In 10 years I plan to own a football team".."I could cop the raiders now for $700 thou, I mean $700 million"
Back stabbers in the industry, being "real businessman" etc. :skip:
This interview was the straw that broke the camel's back and he reacted with "Open Letter"

uhhh what part of Just saying he was working on MULTIPLE SONGS for MULTIPLE ALBUMS at the same time, that had deadlines in palce.. dont you get?

why keep acting as if just was just sitting in the studio shooting the breeze .he wasnt. stop it.

dame made a request and assumed just we automatically know he needed it right then while just had other stuff on his plate (FOR DAME's arttists) already.

dame should've clarified himself. kanye did it so fast, because he wasnt working on as much as just at the time. in addition lets be real. kanye's beats were not nearly as COMPLETE as just songs were. be real. its a lot easier to find a sample to speed up, throw some drums underneath a looped 70's track and call it a day. just was playing the drums himself sometimes. he was scratching himself sometimes. just was a fully faceted producer. while kanye back then was a very very good BEAT maker. lets remember how that champions song came out. even though we liked it. did it sound like it took him a lot of time to do? NOPE. it sounded rushed now that you now the history.

The ones that credit Jay-z and his Roc Nation/Brooklyn crew as the ones who broke them are Rihanna, Ne-yo, Kanye, J. Cole, Rita Ora in Europe..
Were all broken by Jay Brown and Ty-Ty (aka Roc Nation) (and Kanye hiphop/G-roberson Jays people from Roc-a-fella (and Al Branch who's from The Roc as well who worked under Dame but as everyone else beefed with Dame and just stuck with the money (hov) ) they know manages Kanye/Drake/Nicki/Tip/Jeezy and more btw).

He's done pretty well since 04 as far as breaking artists, managing artists, setting up writers, producers and more before he retired it was basically just Beans, Free and other non-billboard-topping artists. He never worked hands on with Dipset so we can't credit him that.

just blaze had way more output and way better material in those days with the roc. its real easy to see the difference when just was with a boss who had him in pocket, and what just does when hes his own boss. theyre like night and day.

Dame was a chump, shytting on Kevin Liles, he wasn't shyt back then, he was just shooting the messenger.

Where the videos of Dame shytting on the Big Wigs or people that matter.
He would never talk that way to Lyor Cohen he wouldn't spaz on that jew, because he have his thrown the fukking stairs.

I never seen dude be an a$$hole to another a$$hole, Lyor gave the orders back then if he should have had kevin liles call lyor and spazzed on him.

He had more output becasue he was producing for 75% of a fukking label.
back then, besides Jay-Z, he didn't produce for any other bonafide stars,
after the Roc Era he was fukking with all the big artist from T.I. to Eminem.

The champions beat was ass cheeks that Kanye made, shyt wasn't no hit and came out on that weak ass dame dash cd. I wanna hear the version Just made to close out hov's concerts because I know it was killing that fruity loop sounding shyt kanye whipped in my five minutes.
