as a Black man I still feel some type of way knowing that Ed Burns, a white ex cop, is responsible for putting together both the Wire and The Corner. There's something off about a white cop telling black struggles, especially when that white cop pimps the info for the content from people really in the streets and then turns around and takes all teh credit.

Is this show in the same universe as The Wire?
The Wire is better just cuz it was a series that developed a lot of characters and went on for yrs. Corner was just a miniseries. But the acting is superb and the story is real sh1t. I highly recommend it. Sh1t is too sad to look @ it more than once or twice doe. I can look @ every season of the wire till I go to the upper room... Or the basement :mjcry:

I'm watching it right now, actually, lol. I've seen a few characters from The Wire too.

I read somewhere all the actors who played fiends or street dudes on the corner, played law enforcement on the wire. If u think about it its true.
Lester plays a cop in the wire
Deandres homie plays the UC that nabs Orlando, season 1
