Umm. :patrice: . Ive met some of the most fragile minded dudes ever that grew up I N the city. Not saying all dudes are like that but it's true. But that intellectual part is j u st straight up bs. You got dumb and smart dudes everywhere.
Yea she a cool poster but she on that bullshyt in this thread most country/small town dudes i know are about that family shyt and are mature and focused on ownership cuz thats all they know, and on top of that brehs in small towns are far more in touch with their roots and less likely to be c00ns, and have an old school mentlity and believe Men should act like and behave like Men, you aint gon see alot of that:wrist:in small towns cuz most brehs were raised with a father in their life.

Non AAs can say whatever they want. I don’t expect them to care about our culture/history

But if you’re AA and shytting on the countryside

That’s the only area where blacks are growing our own food, have our own gun ranges and own land in mass. You better put some respect on the country’s name even if it isn’t your cup of tea :birdman:

This is true too. My Madison peeps have LOTS of land... And they stay beefing about it with other family members trying to get a piece :francis:

It's just was you like folk.

Me I grew up dreaming of places like New York and LA. Until I got older and started traveling regularly....now I love living in Montgomery, Alabama and would never leave. I got fam in Chicago, DC, and NY that I visit regularly (haven't been to New York in a minute though like 3 years ago). Their beautiful places if that's what you like, but it got old to me fast. For one thing I hate having so many people around me. I do love art so the NY art spots I loved.

People think when you say country (in any part of the country) or the south period...you live in a one red light town and everyone says "howdy" and chews tobacco, lol. That's ignorance. I live within a 3 minute drive from 4 gas stations, a 7 minute drive from 3 grocery stores, 10-15 from multiple moving theaters, shopping, museums, restaurants (all the normal chains like Red Robin and smaller unique place like this dope Jamaican spot downtown).

When I want to go to a big city I either go due to my job (I was in Boston last week) or to see my fam. Its fun, but I love home.

It's nothing like those hood barbecue spots that shyt on anything anywhere I've been (except for maybe Memphis)......or being free to carry my gun anywhere I want....or the sense of community. Down here, people feel different. I cant explain it. It's lames, murders, idiots, thinkers, sqaures, nice people everywhere...but it's something about Southern Hospitality and respect.

I get it though, my Chi fam hates the pizza here and I tell them all the time "How do ya'll fukk up sweet tea?" :what:

I love the south bro. It's not country to me, but it is to my up north fam lol and I understand.

But it's nothing like sitting on the porch smoking a cigar, sipping some bourbon, and watching the stars at night. It's very peaceful.

To each his own.

That’s the end goal. Yall can have the density and big city living, been there done that, it has its perks but I’m cool off being in the middle of it, rather be within driving distance to get what I need when I want.

Besides I’m tryna build something for the fam they can always fall back on when SHTF in this bytch.

The city is good when you're young. As you get older the country becomes more appealing.

But yeah, at my age, I dream of eventually moving out into the country and even having a farm to settle down on. I know some people who own a lot of land and lease it out to companies to build cell and radio towers on and other structures needed by the city or state and just spend all day tending to their land and farm. Sounds like a nice life.

I'd much rather do that then report to a 9-5 everyday.
