In Bama for the week to see my folks and all the lil shyt I used to take for granted as a jit wen I used to come down here is the same shyt I cherish these days.

Yup, 1.5 Acres with it. It's a start...not the end.
10 years from now i'll flip it and upgrade again to a spot with 5 acres.
Then I'm done.

I go to Alabama every year to be with my dad’s side of the family. And am always ready to come back at the end.

Maybe in the 70s and 80s I could agree, but now u got access to pretty much what u need and don't have to worry about all the foolishness the city brings.

It’s still the same.
The poorest areas in the US, with some of the worst schools, are still in the country.

You see some of the cities a lot of the great migration people settled in? Cleveland, Omaha, Detroit, Baltimore, Flint, St.Louis, Camden, Milwaukee, Cincinnati...black people are struggling in cities and countryside alike

Haitians are black and there are black Dominicans too but it’s still a different culture. I wouldn’t expect someone with foreigner background to feel fully comfortable in counties where 98 pct of the black people were AA just like I wouldn’t feel comfortable in Washington Heights or North Miami

That happened due to the shift in industrialization, and the ghettoization of Black areas, rural/country areas are underdeveloped because the people living there (cacs) pushed to ensure they would be.
And who would immigrants to the US only to end up in a third-world looking area where satellite internet is the only option and the nearest hospital is 45 min away?

I can't do the country. Shoot my mom lives in Chesapeake, Virginia and that's country to me. So I don't know how ya'll do it in the deep south. I can't do it. Nothing but dirt back roads and a basketball court. No gas station, no corner store, no supermarket. I like being in walking distance to everything. Being near a park, a gym or fitness center. I like a little bit of density to my neighborhood.

Gotta drive the equivalent of a humid Chicago blocks to get Mickie d's and I never eat Mickie d's in the chi.

This is country shyt is the most boring huffest shyt ever.

When your frame of reference is not knowing shyt is better. You will try to play it up.
