Happy we were all able to help a brother out. People don't get how important credit is. It's more important than cash money

Obviously stating you need both by the way. Buy credit and pay before billing statement. RInse and repeat
I feel like my post was a late night infomercial testimonial lol

I need some help :to:

My score is ~575. I have one credit card (sitting right at 30% of the limit currently), mostly student loans (close to 50K :sadbron:), one active car loan, and about 19 inquiries on my credit report.

I have several other things on my report affecting my credit. I just paid off a car loan (but had a lot of late payments so it didn't help my score too much), and also finally got rid of a judgement on my CR from a car accident I had about five years ago.

Any advice?

19 inquiries? My nikka.. why you applying for so many CC's in your current situation? :dahell:

Best thing you can do at this moment is be patient. Where you at right now, you need to just keep making your loan payments on time. Don't ever be late again. Get that credit card utilization below 10% asap. Maybe open up a secured card but use it responsibly, just gas/groceries, etc. and pay it off on time every month.

You can always try a goodwill letter to dispute or ask for forgiveness on a late payment, but doubtful it will work, but it's worth a shot.

Your shyt will rise slowly, but it's no overnight fix.

My advice is to be patient. It'll take some time to get you at a high score. Only thing you can do is stay consistent with your payments and keep your utilization from going too high. Try to lower that. The 19 inquiries are rather high. They take two years to clear so try not to open any credit until you get those down. See how long you have before some of them drop. But mainly just stay on top of your payment history from now on. No more missed or late payments.

My girl was car shopping and kept trying to get approved :snoop:

At least six of those inquiries should fall off by this October, but I'll still have too many. :francis:

Sheesh.

Focus on paying your current debt down and dont apply for anything else in the next 12 months.

So one of my ccs was sent to collections alrdy
My dumass alrdy setup auto payments every month with them through checks sent to my bank account.
Would I be able to call them and halt those payments and go on avoiding them till the reset occurs?

@LeVraiPapi

You can but once they have your banking info they can present a charge at any time and all you can do is dispute it. (be sure to get confirmation of you cancelling the payment arrangements)

If you question their integrity youre better off getting a new account number.

Ovation credit repair helped me jump about 50 points by knocking some things off.

It was about $60/month for 3 months but it helped

My score fell from a 850 FICO to a 797 after opening 2 cards and paying off an installment loan. It won't budge anymore it's stuck there for several months. I'm guessing without another installment loan this is the best I can have now.
