I swear I was going to make a thread about white publications and website critiquing hip hop albums, the shyt is to be taken with absolutely no credence. This is going to be harsh, but it is what it is. What the fukk do these white critics know about hip hop? These are the same people who criticize "flashy" content as mindless drivel, but hail Eminem as the greatest rapper ever. Eminem raps about mushroom, poppin pills and 3 million fukkin ways to kill his baby momma. He has albums titled Recovery and Relapse, I just can't take any of these white writers seriously.

I don't go to Vibe or XXL or the Source to get reviews on Coldplay or The White Stripes, so why in the fukk would I get my hip hop reviews from Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly or Pitchfork?

I will NEVER listen to the opinion of a white person about hip hop, this is form of music was created from MY fukkING CULTURE. What I look like letting some random white dude with a fukking writing credential tell me about MY CULTURE?

Bottom line, stay in your fukking lane!

Do people actually take critic reviews serious? I never even read them.. I feel like half of the musical critics go in having a biased on an artist to begin with and just play off that to come up with a half assed review of an album, part of a genre, they hardly even fukk with.

Only a COUPLE of review sites I take seriously, of the Hip Hop publications I take XXL and Rapreviews seriously, but honestly some of these so called Professional reviewers sound like jaded Coli posters

Yeah, I don't tend to disagree with more of their final ratings though. They usually get most of the albums pretty right.

Maybe they were expecting something different from Jay(which makes no sense considering what he's put for the past 18 years or so). I've seen plenty of reviews of trap music getting high marks with similar subjects so I don't know...

The album is trash. Deal with it. It's not that it's wack. But for rapper with such an elite title, Jay has brought zero creativity or originality to this project. Like we heard enough Maybach raps. No one cares. Meanwhile Ye blazing new paths in this music shyt. Yeezus was the most exciting album I've heard since Kendrick Lamar dropped. It didn't sound like shyt on the radio or whatever trend hip hop was on. It was new and creative. Hov is washed up

I think movies are the only form of entertainment I remotely consider...music is too objective, and I definitely don't ant some pretentious hipster emo jazz purist trying to tell me what hip hop records are hot. Smh @ the blind cocksucking of Yeezus
