They were with Lashley 100%...

I know Vince wanted to push Lashley but I don’t believe he was ever that over with WWE audience.
I don’t remember him ever getting huge pops.
Lashley’s peak in WWE, he never got the reaction that Big E got.
Mark Henry Hall of Pain got more heel heat than Lashley.
Audience was already connected to him due to his goofy past.

Keith Lee is the closest WWE audience came to connecting with a serious, confident black wrestler in a big way with Lee never having to be goofy.

I already acknowledged Bianca and I don’t know why you brought up Iyo.
Japanese wrestlers are usually more over than black wrestlers with the WWE audience.
WWE audience connects more to a Japanese wrestler with broken English than they do to serious and confident black wrestlers.

Crowd used to cheer Lashley over Batista when he was bullet proof. Lashley definitely got crowd chants.. especially during his last run. Couldn't even be heel. Pretty damn over and he never fought Bloodline Roman, so you didn't get to see a crowd choose him over the most protected version of Reigns.

Keith Lee was never as over as Lashley. Pretty wild thing to say. Same for Bianca too. Fans went against her for Iyo outright two years ago..then the racist element fans today chose Rhea and Iyo over her.
Japanese wrestlers were never more over than Asuka really...Cryme Tyme was pretty damn over but botched that up too and had them selling Lita's panties during her first retirement tour. And that was MacMahon in charge....

No Mercy 2006 is on Peacock. Lashley pop was slightly bigger than Finlay’s and not as much as Batista or the boos for King Booker.

Crowd wasn’t that loud when he beat Brock for the title at Rumble 2022. I don’t think he would’ve got some huge pop over Roman.

I feel like your just defending Lashley instead of understanding my point, otherwise you wouldn’t bring up Cryme Tyme, which proves my point that black wrestlers have to be goofy to get over with WWE audience.
You also proved my point with Japanese wrestlers with your Bianca/Iyo point.

When Lashley was ECW Champion..they definitely was going with Ladhley over Batista in those matches. Bobby chants.

Lashley vs Brock was catered to Lesnar and the crowd lost excitement for that feud.

I was the one who brought up Jiggaboo red on this site. Henry, Kofi, MVP, R truth all rocking red at the same time and being losers..talking alot and losing...the opposite of Cena and Taker. Cripple H calling Henry Kool Aid man....trusting them like str8 monkeys. Kofi and Big E saved Kingston's career because he was a jumping jack nobody every year before 2015.

Lashley was damn sure no joke character..they tried though with the Lana thing but fans definitely reacted to the Almighty character. Nothing cab revise that.

I don’t remember Lashley being more over than Batista during that run but I also didn’t watch that ECW like that.

But fukk that, I forgot he did the Lana shyt before the Hurt Biz.
Hurt Biz was Lashley best work in WWE and that came after Lana.
Again, gotta be goofy for fans to connect with them.

Plenty of white wrestlers like Bron Breakker, Brock, Batista, etc can get over as strong, confident, serious wrestlers with WWE fans way easier than black wrestlers.
Part of this blame goes to the fans.

Batista and Lashley had a couple of matches and one would think Batista would be more over but he wasn't.

Its not about goofy. Vince McMahon just fukks around too much...butchered Benjamin after he was hot the first half of 05. Butchered Zack Ryder after he got over on his own in 2011. Tried to give Bryan's yes chants to Big Show and the fans turned on ppv after ppv until Bryan was main eventing WM XXX.
